In the year 2098, the library system of First Baptist Dallas will draw droves of serious literary scholars, theologians, and recreational readers to the historical records center on the outskirts of Plano, the capitol of the nation of Texas. Despite the ability to access First Baptist Dallas on-line archives from home on demand, people will travel from around the globe to feel a real leather-bound Bible, to take in the smell of binder's glue, and to experience the long-lost pleasure of manually turning the pages of real paper.
Of course, all materials are readily duplicated on portable memory modules at the circulation desk for viewing on personal display monitors, 2-leaf optical paper devices eliminating the need to own or borrow physical books. Just plug in a memory module and you're off.
In the Truett Library's Hall of Faith one can interact with Biblical scholars of the past and present. Ask any virtual theologian a question and the computer system scans the lifetime audio, visual, and written records for a response consistent with the espoused philosophies of the scholar -- within the context of the inerrant word of God.
