Mr. Bourne's

Bio

My name is Jeff Bourne, and I'm starting my 24th year of teaching. I'm currently teaching AP Physics B and AP Chemistry. In the past I've taught Physics and AP Physics C as well.

I graduated with a Bachlor's degree in Biology from Eastern Mennonite College in Virginia, and earned a Master's degree and Specialist's Degree in Science Education from Georgia State University. One of my main interests in teaching science is incorporating technology such as computer-interfaced equipment into the laboratory and demonstrations.

I live in the Alpharetta area with my wife, Beverly, and our 3 children, Andew (GA Tech), Becky (11th) and Jason (8th). We are members of Perimeter Church, and much of our life outside of school (what little there is) revolves around church activities and sports. My hobbies include woodworking, and I still maintain an interest in comic books!
