However, the upcoming customer trials are the big test." Integrity Online hopes to begin limited customer trials by the middle of December
November 6, 2002 - New afiliate sales program slated for January 03 release To take advantage of the growing demand for content mangaged Internet services, Integrity Online will release a new and expanded sales program, at the beginning of 2003. Complimented by a new sales tracking and reporting capability, this new affiliate sales program should appeal to a wide range of potential sales partners. When an entity becomes an affiliate, they will direct prospects to an Integrity Online banner that is on the affiliate's website. When a customer signs up by clicking through this banner, the affiliate automatically gets credit for the sale. Integrity Online takes over from there, providing ongoing customer service According to Marketing Consultant Byron Cheatham, "Affiliate distribution is a win-win for Integrity Online and it's affiliate partners. For an affiliate it is an opportunity to provide a value added service to their community of interest and generate significant revenue with little effort. For Integrity Online, affiliate partners are a high quality and cost effective method for promoting their products." January 10, 2003 - With the homeschool community representing a growing segment of Integrity Online's subscriber base, the company is adding specific features for these customers. According to Kenny Wilkinson, a member of the Integrity Online marketing team and a homeschool dad, "Over the next few weeks, we are implementing quick links to educational related web sites for both parents and their children. This is in addition to an interactive tool that will allow parents across the country the ability to communicate with each other on homeschool related topics."
Wilkinson added, "As a homeschool dad I have found the Internet to be wonderful tool for supporting the homeschool process. With filtered Internet from Integrity Online, homeschool families can get everything they want from the Internet without the constant worry of accidentally being exposed to obscene and inappropriate content." February 3, 2003 - Utilizing a highly effective and proprietary combination of technologies; Integrity Online is rolling out its new filtered email capability. Included as part of its regular service package, this new functionality will filter obscene email as well as basic spam. It is being implemented with existing and new customers during the month of February.
This filtering is customizable; with customers having the ability to choose a setting that best meets their needs. According to Integrity Online President Skip Mathews, "By bringing the best of a number of technologies together in one comprehensive package, we have deployed a highly effective and user friendly email filtering capability. Early testing of this service has been very successful and we believe it will serve our customers well." February 10, 2003 - Integrity Online, the nation's leading content managed Internet service provider, has launched its new commercial Internet filter service for small businesses and other organizations such as churches, schools, and libraries.
The unique new service gives smaller entities an ability to manage Internet content without purchasing and supporting complex hardware and software systems. This is accomplished when customers direct their existing Internet access service through Integrity Online's filter servers, located in the Company's national operations center. Integrity Online has refined this filtering technology over the past seven years, as it is an integrated part of its ISP service for tens of thousands of subscribers.
According to Integrity Online President Skip Mathews, "Small organizations are limited in their options to cost effectively filter web content coming into their facility. Unfortunately though, inappropriate web material can create the same legal liability and productivity issues for small organizations as it does for big companies. With this simple new service, we help these customers manage web content without them having to install and maintain costly and complex hardware and software as part of their local area network."
This service is available for as little as $4.00 per user per month and will primarily be sold through affiliate sales partners. These partners will typically be computer service companies that support the computing and networking needs of small businesses and organizations. Integrity Online can be contacted regarding this service at 1.866.449.1736 or email commercialfilter@integrity.com. March 11, 2003 - New technology has been developed that allows current 56k dial-up subscribers to experience Internet speeds that exceed 2-4 times that of normal dial-up service. Integrity Online is currently in discussions with technology vendors and expects to integrate this service as a new feature for its customers before the 2nd half of 2003.
Through the use of a unique combination of technologies, this service significantly decreases the amount of time it takes a web page to load on a computer. "Through put", a measure of how fast data moves, is consistently measured at 2-4 times that of normal dial-up speeds with this service.
According to Byron Cheatham, Integrity Online Vice President of Operations, "We expect to offer this service at a small premium over the price of our current filtered dial-up service. It is designed for folks that just want to browse at faster speeds and don't want to spend $50 or more per month for broadband service that provides more bandwidth than they really need." May 16, 2003 - In late April, the nation's biggest providers of email service held a joint press conference and claimed that they intended to begin developing tools to provide real protection from un-solicited spam email for their customers. According to AOL, the nation's largest ISP, over 70% of all email sent to an AOL customer is just plain junk.
Having been the national leader of safe and clean Internet solutions since 1996, Integrity Online applauds this recent announcement by these big service providers. We hope it will lead to real results.
For years now, you've been able to subscribe with almost any cable television provider and get service that doesn't include channels dedicated to obscene content. Ironically though, it's still very difficult to find an Internet provider willing to help it's customers effectively screen the millions of obscene web sites and unsolicited emails on the web.
It may be that in the future everyone can get protection from the dark side of the Internet, regardless of their provider. But for now, Integrity Online recommends that anyone serious about Internet safety use an Internet company with a proven track record for providing this type of service. June 24, 2003 - Recently the Supreme Court ruled that libraries must manage Internet content in their facilities and protect children from obscene web material. Integrity Online, with its highly flexible filtering services, is prepared to help libraries achieve this mandate in a way that will not block access to the educational information their patrons need.
According to Integrity Online Vice President, Byron Cheatham, "Since a librarian's mission is to provide access to information, it's easy to see how some would consider a filter as counter to that effort. However, recent advances in Internet filtering technology have dramatically improved both accuracy and flexibility. For example, librarians using Integrity Online's filter can control whether a specific site should be blocked or not and can even decide whether an individual computer's filter is turned on or off."
Integrity Online is encouraging libraries across the country to contact them to learn more about how they can implement filtering technology in a way that works for them and their patrons. |
